Yet when he later drove the Alaska Highway\, he knew he’d found his place. With several detours\, including a year of soul searching in Hawaii\, he finally made the move\, making his way back to Alaska\, where he lived for 12 years\, sharing a log cabin on the Kenai Peninsula with his wife and two sons.
