Bold North Foundation
The Bold North Foundation was founded by Tyler and Michelle Bredeson to give back to the community and the land. As owners of an agricultural and social business, the Bredesons are deeply connected to both the natural environment and the communities they serve. Their passion for sustainable land use and positive impact on the land is reflected in the foundation’s work.
The Foundation supports charitable causes through two key funds:
- MinnTerra Environmental Fund
- Minnesota Nice Fund

To nurture the interconnected ecosystems of nature and community through sustainable business practices and charitable giving.
MinnTerra Environmental Fund
The MinnTerra Environmental Fund is dedicated to preserving Minnesota’s natural ecosystem and reducing environmental impact. The charitable fund supports nonprofit organizations committed to protecting and cleaning the state’s land and water. Annual contributions are made possible by the proceeds from MinnTerra wine sales.

- Fully powered by wind energy

- Wine label made from the highest percentage of recycled material available
- 100% natural cork with no decorative capsule

Minnesota Nice Fund
The Minnesota Nice Fund is focused on supporting individuals and organizations in Minnesota who are facing unpredictable financial burdens.
A portion of the proceeds from each bottle of the Minnesota Nice wine line will be dedicated to this fund, helping individuals experiencing financial struggles or nonprofit organizations that provide services to those in need.
