Carlos Creek Winery earns impressive ratings from Wine Enthusiast Magazine

Minnesota Wine Recognized on a National Stage

Carlos Creek Winery is proud to announce a number of exciting ratings from the prestigious Wine Enthusiast Magazine. 

Six Carlos Creek wines were featured in the major industry publication with scores ranging from 88 to 91.

Two Carlos Creek wines were further named Rare Gems, recognizing exceptional wine crafted using lesser-known varietals. Carlos Creek’s ‘Rare Gems’ were made from cold-hardy varieties grown in Minnesota.

For 40 years, Wine Enthusiast has been a premier guide for wines around the world.

Every wine tasting is performed blind, meaning all production and retail information is unknown. Only wines scoring 80 or above are featured in the publication.

Carlos Creek wines scored by Wine Enthusiast in the June/July 2026 issue:

• 2023 Marquette: 91 points
• MinnTerra Rosé: 90 points
• MinnTerra White: 90 points + Hidden Gem
• 2024 La Crescent: 88 points
• 2025 Aurora: 88 points + Hidden Gem
• MinnTerra Red: 88 points
