Valentine’s Day date ideas

Valentine's Day is just around the corner! Racking your brain for ways to celebrate with that special person? Have no fear! Here are Bold North Cellars' six Valentine's Day date ideas:

1. Make brunch together

Everyone loves brunch. It's a scientific fact. Make the good coffee, stay in your PJs, put on relaxing music, and wake up slow while you make your favorite breakfast dishes together. Find some recipes on our Pinterest board and don't forget to grab some Aurora or Minnescato for the mimosas!

2. Have a rom-com movie night

Pop the corn, queue up your favorite rom coms, and curl up under your coziest blanket for a night at home. At the risk of sounding like Olivia Pope, we enjoy a good dry red like our Cabernet Sauvignon with some white cheddar popcorn. 3. Do an at-home wine tasting

Who says you have to go out to have a quality wine tasting? While visiting the winery is always a blast sometimes you just want to be in the comfort of your own home. Here are our tips for conducting a wine tasting. Pick up CCW wine in the Tasting Room, online, or at a liquor store near you!

4. Go snowshoeing together

Get adventurous and opt outdoors! Snowshoeing makes for the perfect winter date day. Don't forget to pack up a few of our mini bottles sold in the CCW Tasting Room to take with you to keep you warm!

5. Attend the CCW Wine, Cheese, and Cake Pairing

Take your special someone to our Carlos Creek Winery Wine, Cheese, and Cake Pairing event on Saturday, February 12 (12-6 PM) and Sunday, February 13 (12-5 PM) while supplies last. Available for purchase in the tasting room, enjoy four different wines paired with cheese and a petit four. Each pairing is enough for 2 people – so perfect for sharing with your significant other, friend, relative or latest fling!

More of a beer lover? Join us for our “Olive Beer” pairing event at 22 Northmen Brewing. Available for purchase Saturday, February 12 (12-9 PM) and Sunday, February 13 (12-6 PM) while supplies last. Four beers paired with four different olives. One of our most popular holiday pairings.

There will be a limited number of tastings each day and no reservations, so make sure to arrive early!

6. Schedule a game-night double date

Pick out your favorite games and invite your friends over for a double date! Make a big charcuterie board for easy snacking when the competition gets serious. Check out our Pinterest board for charcuterie ideas and grab a few different CCW wines so your guests can pick their favorites!
