These grapes came from a one-of-a-kind harvest. Warm temps and a drought left vineyards with low yields and higher quality grapes; adding complexity and concentrating the fruit notes.
If none of that means anything to you, the big takeaway is that this wine will definitely be my new favorite patio sipper this summer. It has the complexity in flavor of a high-end cocktail without any preparation. Makes me feel like I’m sitting in a café in Italy, ready to indulge in Italian cheeses and olives.
